On 27th Oct, Standard Chartered Treasury Leadership Conference 2016 was held in The Peninsula Shanghai by Standard Chartered China. The event invited industry experts along with corporate clients to discuss the current hot financial topics, as well as fin-tech and new digitization trend together. As one of the key parts of the conference, the Award Ceremony aims to honor the corporations which are leading the way in treasury management fields, and to recognize the great contribution they made to accelerate technology innovation.
SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd was awarded “Best Technology for Treasury Management” in the conference. As the payment method of using Smart Phone is getting more popular, SITC together with Standard Chartered developed and promoted the application of Smart Phone payment technology in the corporate treasury management. Firstly, launched Mobile Wallet in the Thailand, and then promoted the application in South East Asia. Comparing with traditional cash collection methods, this innovation will improve the security and efficiency of treasury management significantly. Moreover, it can also be connected with ERP system to further realize the needs of corporate to be more fine and automatic.
Ms. Grace Guo, the Chief Treasurer of SITC, joined the conference and received the prize presented by Mr. Sridhar Kanthadai, Regional Head of Transaction Banking, Greater China & North Asia, from Standard Chartered Bank.
